Expresso Oatmeal Cinnamon Cocoa Chocolate Soap Recipes Formulas

Of the free soap recipes on the internet ours are different in that they are all sized to 16 ounces making them easy to make in a standard blender using the method described in the articles to the right on this page.  The recipes or formulas below can be double or tripled etc.. and made using the standard cold process as well.  This page of recipes features an Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal Bar that has a moderate lather and is an exfoliating soap. We also have a Coffee Expresso kitchen soap that is great for removing odors. Our Arizona Sunrise bar combines the gentleness of olive oil with the lather of coconut and palm oil.  It also has the wonderful scent of sandlewood and patchouli.We have many more below.   We hope you enjoy the soap formulas below.

Apples & Cinnamon Oatmeal Bar
6 ounces Coconut Oil
6 ounces olive oil
4 ounces Crisco
2.3 ounces lye
7 ounces water
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon fo
3/4 teaspoon apple fo
1/8 cup finely ground oatmeal

Odor Removing Kitchen Soap
16 ounces of Crisco
6.5 ounces distilled water
2.1 ounces lye
Add at trace:
Up to 1/8 c finely ground espresso coffee beans
.5 oz sweet orange EO
1/2 tsp. cinnamon EO

Arizona Summer Bar
8 ounces olive oil
4 ounces coconut oil
4 ounces palm kernel oil
2.3 ounces lye
7 ounces water
Add at trace:
1 Tsp. sandalwood FO
1 tsp. patchouli EO
1 Tbsp. ground rosemary

Rich Chocolate Swirl
8 ounces of olive oil
4 ounces coconut oil
4 ounces palm kernal oil
2.3 oz. lye (sodium hydroxide)
7 oz. distilled water
2 Vitamin E caps
1/2 oz. chocolate FO
1/2 oz. cocoa butter, melted & added at trace
2 ounces unsweetened cocoa mixed with 1 Tsp. sweet almond oil
Make soap using normal instructions. Add the vitamin e and cocoa butter to the mix at trace. Pour a few ounces of the mix aside and mix it with the unsweetened cocoa mix. Gently swirl this darker mix back into the main mix and pour into molds.

Cucumber Soap
8 ounces of olive oil
4 ounces of coconut
4 ounces palm oil
2.3 ounces of lye
1/2 cup grated cucumber (blend until liquified)
5 ounces water
Add at trace:
4 Vitamin E caps
1/4 oz. cucumber FO
1 Teaspoon Aloe Vera Gel
1 Teaspoon Wheat Germ Oil

Oahu Sunrise
10 ounces olive oil
3 ounces coconut
3 ounces palm oil
2.3 ounces lye
7 ounces water
Add at trace:
2 Vitamin E caps
1/8 oz. Orange EO
1/8 oz. Mango EO
1/8 oz. SC Coconut EO
1 Tbsp. sweet almond oil
Make soap as usual but at a light trace take a few ounces of the mix and mix in a yellow colorant. Pour the main batch into the mold and then swirl in the colored mix.

Lemon Suprise Soap
4 oz. olive oil
4 oz. coconut oil
8 oz. Crisco
2.3 oz. lye
7 oz. distilled water
Add at trace:
3 ounces of heavy cream
3 Vitamin E caps
1 Teaspoon dried lemon peel, ground fine in food processor
.25 ounces lemongrass EO
.25 ounces nutmeg EO
1 Teaspoon sweet almond oil
1 Teaspoon Jojoba oil

Maui Evening Breeze
6 oz. palm kernel
6 oz. coconut oil
5 oz. tallow
2.5 oz. lye
6 oz. water
1/4 cup ground or shredded coconut
1/4 oz coconut FO
1/4 oz of orange EO

California Sunshine & Honey
5 ounces palm kernel oil
5 ounces coconut oil
3 ounces olive oil
3 ounces canola oil
7 ounces water
2.3 ounces lye
1/2 oz. hemp seed oil added at trace
Also at trace add –
1.5 ounces of orange EO
1.5 ounces of Honey Almond EO or FO
